As I began to value where my food came from, it became clear that I wanted to raise and share meat that I could trust to nourish those I love. Like many families, I struggle with figuring out meals, and I know how important it is to have convenient, high-quality options on hand. That’s why I’m committed to offering the highest-quality, pasture-raised poultry—not just for my family, but for our community as well. Our goal is to provide high-quality and nutritious poultry products that nourish our community and customers

My journey into farming didn’t start in the country—it started in my backyard. My first house had big flower beds, but I wanted to try my hand at gardening in the limited space I had. When I grew my first batch of tomatoes and kohlrabi, I was hooked. I knew then that I wanted to live out in the country, and eventually, that dream became a reality. Until it did, I supported local farmers at the West Allis Farmers Market, and soon enough, I was hitting farmers’ markets all over to see what others were doing.

Terry, on the other hand, grew up on a farm. His whole family has always been involved in farming—from crops to cattle to pigs—and he never left the world of farming. We met quite randomly, despite me being from SE Wisconsin and him living in SE Minnesota for most of his life!

Now, it still feels surreal that I’m the one with the tent, tables, and coolers at the farmers market. Life is full, but rewarding. By day, I’m an IT Project Manager, and the other 24 hours of the day raising poultry and chasing after our amazing toddler, Jaclyn. My food journey has turned into a passion (maybe even an obsession)—with podcasts, cooking shows, and a bit of Bluey to balance it all. I’m always learning to provide the best for my family and community. Thankfully, I’ve got Terry’s full support—even if he groans when I bring home boxes labeled “Chick Days.”

Terry and I both know the struggles of juggling it all, but we work smarter, not harder, to make it all happen..
